After completing residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, he came back to MUSC to serve on faculty as a Med/Peds Hospitalist. He is in the South Carolina Army National Guard, where he has served since 2010. His academic focus is on medical education and diversity of the physician workforce.
