Janet Hong, PA-C

Janet Hong, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in adult spine surgery.

Janet listens carefully to her patients' questions and concerns. She takes time to explain their conditions, imaging results and treatment options, so patients can actively participate in their healthcare decisions. She partners with her patients to design treatment plans that best fit their unique needs and preferences.

Janet explains, "The spine has always been fascinating to me. I value the opportunity to be able to understand it and use that knowledge to help people feel better."

She appreciates being a part of the El Camino Health team because they share her commitment to caring for patients with compassion and expertise.

Janet is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also involved in multiple regional projects aimed at optimizing Physician Assistant efficiency in spine surgery.

Outside of work, Janet values time with family and friends. She enjoys the physical and mental benefits of staying active with running and strength training. She also enjoys good food - but not cooking it!
