Juan Tio-Pagan, M.D.

Dr. Juan D. Tio-Pagan is an orthopaedic trauma surgeon with specialized training in the care of complex fractures and musculoskeletal injuries. He completed his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, serving as Academic and Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. Following residency, Dr. Tio-Pagan pursued fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he developed advanced expertise in the management of complex fractures, periprosthetic injuries, and pelvic and acetabular trauma.
