I'm still at Morsani after so many years because I like and appreciate the doctors and assistants for their care and concern for my eyes and the preservation of my vision. Dr Patel did an excellent job of injecting my eye

I have already recommended to my family and friends that should you require any assistance with vision problems to seek out Dr patel, USF, and Tampa general

The attention of the doctor was excellent, I have no complaints about her attention.

Dr. Patel is excellent. I would suggest all health care providers review our charts before coming to see us and review meds. I'm on a new med which I told the nurses about methotrexate and if I didn't mention it on the way out I would not have scheduled the additional testing needed for this drug. Dr. Patel explained clearly my options moving forward. She does take copious notes

She was very rushed. She came in charting on another patient and placed the computer where I could read what she was typing. Seemed a major HIPAA violation. She never looked at me while talking except at my eyes during exam. She told me I had cataracts and would not really explain why I couldn't have them removed other than saying I was too young. I know she was behind and rushed but I felt worse after my appt with her.

Don't appreciate dr. being late and no apologies

I had a series of questions that I wanted to ask the doctor, but the doctor basically told me to shut up! She didn't have time to listen to the questions that I have and she said she has a lot of patients that she has to deal with and she'll be back after about 10 minutes of her vacating the room she comes back peaks or hidden in the door and she says what questions do you have and her tone of voice was offputting and frankly I just recovering from surgery was not prepared at that moment to ask the 10 or 15 questions that I actually had about my recovery and timing of all different types of things! She had no time for me! I am praying that she's a great surgeon and and my eye will not be permanently destroyed! People told me she was a good surgeon, but they didn't tell me she had no bedside manner! I am extremely concerned about the medication's that I am on as now two of them are creating severe issues! The fact that the one eye drop shut down the ability to to urinate

Dr. Patel was able to find and monitor a very slight tear / loose flap at the top of my retina. Her concerns about possible fluid leaks behind the problem area could worsen and allow further separation in the near future, She recomended laser spot welding to remove the risk of further damage. Laser surgery was done that day resolving the issue. Best plan and reolution due to Dr. Patel's excellent work. Could not be better!
