Sarah-Jessica Poblete, MD

About
Dr. Poblete is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and completed her training in Internal Medicine at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She joined TGMG in 2005; prior to this, she worked in both traditional internal medicine and ambulatory care.
Dr. Poblete manages acute and chronic conditions that affect the adult population, and provides preventive care through age-appropriate testing. She is recognized by the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program.

Elzbieta Kolanko, MD

Dr. Koslacz-Kolanko's previous experience includes practicing as a family medicine provider and medical director at the Kenosha County Health Center in Kenosha, WI. Her professional interests include community health, disease prevention and management of chronic disease. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Medical Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Koslacz-Kolanko enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English and Polish.
Dr. Koslacz-Kolanko treats patients 12 years of age and older.

Akif Ahmad, MD

About
Dr. Ahmad has provided comprehensive family medicine care to the Tampa Bay area community since 2015. Before joining Tampa General Medical Group, he treated patients at Evara Health (formerly known as Community Health Centers of Pinellas) in St. Petersburg. Meanwhile, he served as a clinical assistant professor and clinical preceptor for medical students at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ahmad was also a clinical preceptor for medical students at the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville after moving to the United States from Pakistan to begin his family medicine career.

Noman Ashraf, MD
Thoracic Medical Oncology
About
Prior to joining Tampa General Hospital, Dr. Ashraf served as the assistant chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa after completing his hematology and medical oncology fellowship with USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in 2012. He completed his internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and received his medical degree with honors from The Aga Khan University in Pakistan.
Dr. Ashraf has been an invited speaker and presenter at several regional, national and international conferences, including many throughout Tampa. He has formally trained more than 80 postgraduate fellows, including several current Tampa General Hospital medical staff members. Dr. Ashraf has also served as a principal investigator for clinical trials and is credited with several peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and presentations in his areas of expertise.
