About
Julia N. Smith is a clinical nurse who delivers integrative and evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with an inpatient multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, specialists, support staff and registered nurses. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Tampa and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. Smith is affiliated with the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners and received the CVS Health Foundation Scholarship, McNichols Scholarship and the TGH Nurses Week Scholarship. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.


Philippe Chain, MD
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Chain is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP). Previously, he volunteered as a member of the medical professional team for the Boston Marathon and as an assistant coach for the North Bay Down Syndrome Society Special Olympic athletes. Dr. Chain is fluent in both English and French.
Dr. Chain treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Chain is recognized by the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program.
Jaimie Lucinda Weber, MD

About
As a specialist in quality improvement and patient safety, Dr. Weber drives clinical improvement across Tampa General Hospital through the adoption and application of data and analytics.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Weber served as Tampa General's Medical Director for Sepsis and the Hospitalist lead for TGH's inpatient COVID-19 efforts after joining the hospital in 2019.
Dr. Weber helped Tampa General Hospital produce world-class outcomes regarding COVID-19. TGH ranked in the second percentile among comprehensive academic medical centers in COVID length of stay and in the 20th percentile for COVID mortality from the beginning of the pandemic through August 2021.
Dr. Weber gained comprehensive, multidisciplinary health care knowledge she uses today through her four years of working as a cardiovascular surgical intensive care unit (ICU) nurse with AdventHealth in Tampa.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Weber earned her medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2015 and received her bachelor's degree in science from the University of South Florida's nursing program in 2009.
She completed an internal medicine residency at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and a chief residency year in quality improvement and patient safety at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital.
Dr. Weber is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Additionally, she is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a notable quality improvement certification. She is also certified physician advisor and completed a certificate education program in data analytics through the USF Muma College of Business.
