Julia N. Smith is a clinical nurse who delivers integrative and evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with an inpatient multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, specialists, support staff and registered nurses. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Tampa and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. Smith is affiliated with the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners and received the CVS Health Foundation Scholarship, McNichols Scholarship and the TGH Nurses Week Scholarship. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Jorge A Gadea, DO

Dr. Gadea has practiced as a primary care physician in the Tampa Bay area since 1998, providing care for adult and geriatric patients. For over six years, he served as a medical director for a private/public collaboration between the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Pfizer pharmaceutical company leading a disease management program specifically designed to help a large group of patients suffering from chronic medical conditions such as congestive heart failure and diabetes to better understand their medical conditions and health needs in order to better care for themselves and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Gadea's professional interests include individualized diabetes care, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hyperlipidemia. He focuses on preventive health and patient education, and encourages his patients to take an active part in their healthcare plan.
Dr. Gadea has received numerous 'Patients Choice Awards' and was recently recognized as one of 'America's Best Physicians' by the National Consumer Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and has received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for diabetes care. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Outside of the office, Dr. Gadea enjoys exercising, fishing and travelling with his family.

Dr. Sharma's professional interests include broad spectrum family medicine, educating medical students and residents, and integrative medicine. Her personal interest include international travel, teaching, music, singing, meditation, swimming, Yoga and cooking. She is proficient in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Paula Rosenblatt, MD

Dr. Paula Rosenblatt is a board-certified medical oncologist with expertise in breast cancer and survivorship care. She joins Tampa General Hospital from the University of Maryland, where she served as associate professor and director of quality and safety at the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Rosenblatt has led numerous clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives, and she is widely published in oncology research. Her leadership in multidisciplinary care and patient education has helped shape national standards in breast cancer treatment.
At TGH Cancer Institute, Dr. Rosenblatt continues her mission to improve outcomes through evidence-based care, innovation and a deep commitment to patient advocacy.

Dany Sayad, MD
Electrophysiology
About
Before joining TGH in 2001, Dr. Sayad was the Director of the non-invasive lab at the James Haley VA Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Saint Joseph University School of Medicine in Lebanon. He completed his medical training at St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York and his Cardiology training at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School.

Mudra Kumar, MD
Pediatrics
About
Dr. Kumar is a clinician and an educator- and as a core faculty member, at the rank of Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida, she is intimately involved with teaching medical and PA students and residents, and mentoring junior colleagues in clinical skills and management of the patients. She continues to receive numerous awards and recognition for her work and teaching from patients, co-workers, and colleagues. She has been included in the Best Doctors of America for several years.
In addition to general pediatrics, she has expertise in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplantation. Her special interests include red cell disorders - she has described unique and unusual hemoglobins making significant contributions to medical literature.
Dr. Kumar has lived, trained, and worked in three continents - Asia, Europe, and America - and has credentials and qualifications in Pediatrics from various countries. She has traveled extensively, and her experiences have given her a unique and global perspective on educational models, clinical practices, challenges in medical education, and efficient utilization of resources with optimal delivery of healthcare in the clinical setting and practice.
Currently, she is developing and exploring overutilization in medicine and hopes to address the issue of waste, escalating costs, and fiscal responsibility in medicine.
