Dr. Gadea has practiced as a primary care physician in the Tampa Bay area since 1998, providing care for adult and geriatric patients. For over six years, he served as a medical director for a private/public collaboration between the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Pfizer pharmaceutical company leading a disease management program specifically designed to help a large group of patients suffering from chronic medical conditions such as congestive heart failure and diabetes to better understand their medical conditions and health needs in order to better care for themselves and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Gadea's professional interests include individualized diabetes care, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hyperlipidemia. He focuses on preventive health and patient education, and encourages his patients to take an active part in their healthcare plan.

Dr. Gadea has received numerous 'Patients Choice Awards' and was recently recognized as one of 'America's Best Physicians' by the National Consumer Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and has received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for diabetes care. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Outside of the office, Dr. Gadea enjoys exercising, fishing and travelling with his family.

Dr. Saad graduated with honors from Austin College in Texas. His medical school training was at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then completed his General Surgery residency training and research fellowship in Thoracic surgery at University of Texas Health in San Antonio. After residency, he practiced as a General Surgeon in Guam for almost five years. Following his time in Guam, he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive GI and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He joined the University of South Florida surgical faculty in 2017 and quickly showed interest in surgical education. He has earned several teaching awards in his tenure here at USF and serves as the General Surgery Program Director. Dr. Alikhani is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with special emphasis on minimally invasive spine surgery for treatment of complex spinal disorders including scoliosis, trauma, fractures, tumor, neck and leg pain and degenerative spinal pathologies. He operates on challenging cases such as degenerative scoliosis, adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, flat back deformity, chin on chest syndrome, complex cervical, and revision surgeries. He also manages patients with spinal cord tumors as well as peripheral nerve disease such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment. Dr. Alikhani works with a well-trained multidisciplinary team which includes nurse practitioners, physical therapists and pain management physicians to help deliver the best care for his patients. Having published several papers on minimally invasive approaches to spine surgery, Dr. Alikhani has a strong passion for teaching and is constantly involved with multiple research projects. He also lectures on spinal disorders both domestically and internationally.
